Providing College Funding Support
Founded in 2021, NCT Naomi Cohen Turner Scholarship in Jacksonville, FL provides a scholarship program for students who want to go to college but don’t have the financial means. Our college funding aim to help ensure that more students are admitted to college so they can have a bright future ahead of them. Our foundation was named after the beloved Naomi Cohen Turner, a pillar in the community who loved and cared for those beyond her home. We are often reminded of her gentleness, giving spirit, and love, which is the bedrock of this fund. While a sister to her siblings, a loving wife, and a mother to 13 children of her own, Naomi’s love didn’t stop there but instead reached far beyond her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family friends who all loved her dearly.
